A NEW SPECIES OF ASTRAGALUS L. SECT. CARA‌GANELLA (PAPILIONACEAE) FROM IRAN

Abstract

Astragalus memoriosus from the section Caraganella is described as a new species. The new species within the section Caraganella is characterized by having a tall habit ca. l00 cm, long peduncle and silvery stem.
A. memoriosus differs from its relative A. reshadianus in following characters: peduncle long, inflorescence ca. 8-12 cm long (not 1.5-2 cm), calyx covered with appressed black and white hairs (not only white hairs) and pod glabrous (not hairy).

Abstract [Persian]

گونه Astragalus memoriosus  از بخش ‍Caraganella به عنوان گونه جدیدی معرفی و شرح داده می‌شود. از ویژگیهای این گونه در بخش، بلندی آن به طول حدود 100 سانتی‌متر، بلندی پایک گل‌آذین و ساقه‌های نقره‌ای رنگ است. گونه مذکور با داشتن اختصاصات زیر از گونه نزدیک خود A. reshadianusتشخیص داده می‌شود. طول پایک گل‌آذین بلند، خوشه به طول 8 تا 12 سانتی‌متر (نه 5/1 تا 2 سانتی‌متر)، کاسه‌گل پوشیده از کرکهای سیاه و سفید خوابیده ( نه کرک سفید تنها) و نیام بدون کرک ( نه کرکی).
